Principal

Catherine is an experienced lawyer with deep expertise in workplace relations, employment and not-for-profit law, built across leading firms including Holding Redlich, Clayton Utz and Moores, where she practised as a Principal. Throughout her career she has championed legal advice that is accessible, transparent and priced for value rather than time. As founder of Equitable Philanthropy and EP Law, Catherine combines her legal expertise with deep sector knowledge to make high-quality legal support genuinely accessible to charities and funders, translating complex questions into clear, practical and commercially grounded guidance.

Kirstie Le Lievre

Senior Lawyer

Kirstie is a senior commercial lawyer whose practice spans contract law, intellectual property, and disputes across some of Australia's most respected firms. She began her career at Herbert Smith Freehills, where she acted on high-stakes disputes arising from the banking royal commission, and at LegalVision, where she helped pioneer document automation and other legal innovation projects. In the years since, she has led commercial teams and acted as in-house counsel for a national entertainment agency.

What sets Kirstie apart is her belief that excellent legal work should also be human. She is known as a trusted advisor who builds genuine rapport with clients, translates complexity into plain language, and partners with organisations as they grow.
